    Hello ADV,
I had the honor of meeting Hank of MotoHank's. Here's what I learned, he is a tremendous gentleman and top notch BM'er mech. The fact that Hank's GS has 486,000 and climbing is no where near as impressive, as Hank!!

    Here it is!!!

    That is truly amazing.

There's a thread somewhere in here where he answered questions about what he's had to do to the bike over the years and how he maintains it. You should add your pictures to the thread. Located HERE

I met Hank for the first time recently, I rode the GSA to Dilley and he serviced my bike and answered lots of questions from a noob. Afterward we had lunch and talked more about BMWs and his travels, I am glad I had the opportunity to meet him and I will be using MotoHank for my BMW needs from now on. D.

That is really f'n cool to see. :clap

It's nice to know that the bike is capable of that kind of mileage if you take care of it and if you don't give up on it. :deal

It certainly demands a complete understanding of every component to reach that kind of millage and I'm sorry to say that the technology of the new GS's don't appear to allow that level of understanding.

Only 190,000 miles. I hope the damned drive shafts get cheaper.

If he was at Overland I'm going to be extremely sad I didn't cross his path.
