Nice bike. I'm still perfecting my slow kick
Yeah, it`s really hard to not just kick`em good. And amazing how slow of a kick will start them.
No, gotta kick it, didn’t want or could afford a 300, always wanted this one. Orange wig maybe...
Me too, it’s either one or five with me
Plus the idle needs to be like 1800, my dealer had mine turned way down and it was super hard to start
Is that RR a 2020? I thought they changed the color scheme of those?
Awesome. Good on you, bruddah!
2020 grey. 2021 red.
yea mine is 2020. “sonic grey” i think red is available in europe. and 2021 will bring the 75th anniversary decals too. and maybe red
Got a little kidding over this. Man I knew that Montesa is heavy but man I mean well
we ride 4 wheelers over that
Not any more.
Little girlie got fresh oil a new filter and a pair of mittens. Actually got two oil changes because I had a little oil around the wiring on top of the case cover so pulled it back off and changed the gasket. I use the controversial lay it on its side method and today thought you probably could drop something in there . That being said I pulled pretty hard on the two dowels and they were tight. May just use the bungee to the jointer technique from now on
She wanted blue mittens this winter
I got those practice fenders for the 301 mounted up and stuck some home made decals on there. the cricut is a cool tool (ive actually made gaskets with it). Also trimmed out the rear fender to be a bit more floppy for all those ghost rides I have planned. Now its ready for endless hours of practice.
Ok, I will not go into detail yet but some might remember I had shock issues with my wife's bike... well after getting it fixed I messed it up again (my fault, please don't ask how). Long story short I got my bonus from work and after making sure I had enough in the bonus to do it, I got permission from the wife to get an R-Racing shock for my 300RR... Well a lot of back and forth with Randy and two weeks between a couple good long test rides I am now the proud owner of a R-Racing shock...
I will be posting a detailed ride review in the "Montesa Cota 4RT R-Racing proto-type shock" thread sometime this weekend. Tell then here is a quick teaser.... WOW! This thing is fantastic! Pictures and details in the other thread.
You get bonuses?
Crazy but yes...
They aren’t usually very large but can make the difference between being behind when things like this happen or not.
Stable boys usually get a bonus, just not monetary in nature.
Do you have a story to share with the group? Pics are always helpful.
