I ran into the same thing with shipping costing more than the bar ends so went to dualsport plus and added a set of grips so I could get free shipping as the order was then over $50 (Canadian) :-). I think dualsport plus is $19 flat rate to the US.

I got a text from Ryan a week or so ago. It was simply a photo of him holding up a trophy earned in some event and a very short statement about having fun.

I replied with a photo of my fun the same weekend:

Sometimes a person has slogged through work enough and it's time to go have some fun!

Yeah, Ryan's RYP has evaporated, but so have his obligations to it.

Someone is listening. Threshold is a bit high for those inclined to get caught out and need something little in a hurry.

    Plan ahead!

If you can't order Sherco parts direct from RYP like plastic or engine parts, however, that knocks down the ability to $150.

They're listening alright. But they also jacked up their prices to cover the "free shipping". At least they did on the helmets I have been looking at.

Also the website comes up as a security risk. Missing a real website certificate or what? Somebody is not on the ball.

According to the warning information if you look at the cert it expired today. Sure looks like someone wasn't keeping track of things. :dunno

The cert information that showed up when I clicked the advance button to see what my options where.
"Websites prove their identity via certificates, which are valid for a set time period. The certificate for rypusa.com expired on 9/19/2020"

Texted with Ron on Friday.... He said the websites including Scorpa USA were all getting revamped. He didn't mention anything about letting RYP address expire though?

Today was not the first time. A few times in the last few months. Funny I was one of the first RYP dealers. And back then I was installing cable modems on old shitty computers. Pretty poor 24 years later.

Word is that it was an unintended consequence of installing the free shipping feature on the website. They are working on it.

Scorpa USA website still features 2016 models. Can't blame the new guys on that, but c'mon.

Savvy trials enthusiasts know that the price was raised to cover free shipping, example S3 gloves went from $46 to $53+
Not sure how this is going to fly?
