My wife had Givi D5120ST on her '16 RS. It was great for rain, but it was warm in the heat. Keep the bugs off your jacket.

Have the same rear fender, got it from a mate in England who was kind enough to secure it for me. They aren't on the imported to the US bikes due to DOT non approval [ bmw decided to not get approval at some cost ]. With my shad 36L panniers on the bike, it's barely noticeable, but oh so effective

Same deal for me. Plus it fits perfect, looks decent and really helped keep road spray down.

Yes and thanks for posting the photos.

I have one too but still not ideal.
Also have Machine Art Moto mud sling attached to protect the shock.

While better than having nothing, that fender seems too far off of the tire to prevent all the spray the tire would throw... :hmmmmm

If it were my bike, I'd look for some sort of hugger like Puig pictured - ymmv...

Considering adding the following updates to my '16 RS:
    Hill Start Assist
    Driving Modes Pro including DTC
Driving Modes Pro including DTC and ABS Pro
Looking for user feedback from anyone here who's updated, and used them.
    TIA.

^ Did you price out how much those upgrades will cost ie. what you'll get in return for all that money?

If you need all those upgrades, it may be better to add the upgrade cost on top of the bike and trade in for newer '19 and up 1250... :hmmmmm

I am curious about them & did get a quote.
The Hill start is minimal cost. The other 2, not so much. I use this as a track training vehicle, and a commuter. I will use the HSA, & DMP/DTC. I miiight use the ABS Pro.
While not inexpensive, much less than a newer version of what I have.

I hope this is a good place to post this... I'm looking for a 2015-2018 R1200R in Northeast US. No RS, RT or GS. Ideally in black, blue, gray or red.
