You're both on un-plated bikes which should mean that you're in or near an OHV area?
I keep going back to the Winom-Frazier area but no big water?

    Negative.

Non of those answers are correct. Remember Powder River was red hot!
Dixie Butte is the clue for Dixie. It's about 35 miles away and visible in the far right side of the picture.

I’ll be gone the rest of the weekend. It’s Phillips Lake and I’m in the Elkhorns.
    Someone else take it away.

263.JPG Ok, maybe some clues are needed. You can only reach this lake on a bike. Maybe horse/hiking if your into that sort of thing. No quads, sxs or 4x4. You can see the view in the first pic from a 4x4. You just can't reach the shore.

No and no. In the first pic I am on a ridge with the same name as the lake. In a designated ORV area. Very fun place. You can see weird stuff like this on the way. 238.JPG

Thanks, I get Funny Rocks and Moon Rocks mixed up sometimes, they are so close together.

I'll post up a photo in the morning.

The dirt road in to this lake won't quite get you all the way there... you have to hike about 1/4 mile. What is the name of the lake?

Gotta go farther north (but not across the CA border).

No, by CA I meant Canada. Above someone guessed Round Lake - assuming that is the Round Lake near Issaquah, the lake in my picture is pretty much due north of that lake, but not so far north that you end up in Canada.

Clue: This really fun road is on the other side of the same mountain.
