    More likely to give the cable a straighter run beside the fork slider so less likely to snag and a better angle on the lever at the drum.

    My mate restored this 1960 600 Dominator for the son of its owner, whose owned it since 1962. Today is his 80th birthday, and the son wanted to give it back to his dad today. Sadly the lockdown means it'll have to wait.

    BTW the oil drip is from the kickstart oil seal, the gearbox being the one part my mate was told didn't need any work, as it had already been rebuilt..

    hopefully he changed the out side case gasket. this gasket was made too wide and over time,sitting soaked in tranny fluid will turn to the consistency of oatmeat and giveway. I would seal it with aviation permatex and let set over nite with a finger torque on it, then trim to fit the case.

    Turned the front wheel around so the brake works backwards, must be really powerful now.

    Single leading shoe, shouldn't make any difference.
