just searching for one of the greatest Advrider legends here.... great to go back a read again... One of my Hero's

Sweet ! As they say!
Watching the World go by... hopefully .
Maybe you know Spirit passed 04 / 04 /2018. Miss my Buddy like you would not believe.
A few more bypasses! One more spine surgery! Can't ride and that 's okay. It is what it is. At 71 rode for 61 years .
House in Alamogordo New Mexico. Loving it here. 9400 feet in 20 minutes.
Thinking about writing "The Aftermath" as trust me, there is huge mental aftermath when stopping, getting off the road after all these years. Many should know .
Stay well. Thanks for writing.
Write the book Chef......many here who followed you and Spirit would love to read it. Best to you and I will tip a glass to Spirit tonight.
Thank you. Stay safe...
If ever through here, let me know! I don't ride but I do have a car . What a concept. Right?

Ride and for those that can't travel safely.
Thanks for the update!
Ara thanks for popping in for the update.
Had not heard of Spirits passing.
Sorry to hear about your health hurtles and glad to hear you are doing well now.
If at any time you are inclined to add more photos to this thread I am
sure I'm not the only one who would love to see them. There is still an empty
spot in my day not getting to see what you captured with your creative eye.
Chef, yes, please make this addition to your travel writings. I do not think this is discussed enough and can catch many by surprise when it does happen. I personally, (and I believe others) would love to hear the perspective of a traveler of your caliber discuss this and not be afraid to bring up the dark aspect of this.
And sorry to hear about Spirit. Dogs rule.
I am very happy to have run across this thread. I met you and Spirit several years ago but have never read anything other than some of your FB posts. I will make the time this week to read this thread. Still miss my dog after 6 years.
