    And another "F5amily Team"....

    #75 Llewelyn Sullivan-Pavey
    #76 Simon Pavey

Interesting to note that Llewelyn has entered as an Aussie even though as far as I am aware he was born in the UK and has lived here all his life but obviously with Aussie parents he has that right. Dad Simon has of course entered as an Aussie because he is!

The Brit count is rather low this year with only

#6 Sam Sunderland (yeah, yeah we know he actually lives in a sandy place)

#104 Chris Cork (Corky) follow him HERE

And interestingly #103 David Reeve is listed as a Brit even though he is from Zambia and certainly rode the 2013 Dakar as a Zambian???

    In !!!

It's CS Santosh's first Dakar i believe so i'll be closely following my fellow country man and the first Indian competitor in Dakar. Go !!! rider no. 59

pity about his name though, looks like they insisted on having the full name typed out in the list. Should be a mouthful and a test of tongue dexterity for any interviewers esp spanish/frenchenglish speaking ones :lol3:lol3

I can see why he sticks to CS!

    Other notable tongue twisters include:

    NASER COLOMBO CRISTIAN PATRICIO (CHL)

    ERRAZURIZ ESPINOZA FRANCISCO JOSE (CHL)

VAN HEERTUM MELCHIOR XAVERIUS MARIA (NLD)

    And of course our old </CUFONTEXT></CUFON><CUFON class="cufon cufon-canvas" style="HEIGHT: 25px; WIDTH: 204px" alt="SHIVASHANKAR ">favourite Mongolian....

Hee hee - I can still see the sticker on the skid plate from the Hellas:

So to add to Armageddons list:

    Interesting numbers

    2015 vs 2014

    KTM 88 vs 63
    Yamaha 28 vs 42
    Honda 17 vs 32
    Kawasaki 8 vs 5
    Sherco 5 vs 4
    Husqvarna 4 vs 2
    GasGas 3 vs 9
    Beta 2 vs 2
    Husaberg 2 vs 0
    Suzuki 2 vs 5
    BMW 0 vs 2
    Speedbrain0 vs 5
    TM 0 vs 2

    RRP 1 vs 0

This is very important, as Rally Raid Products had to become a manufacturer to get the LC4-50 type-approved to be eligible for entry! (even though it's still marked 'KTM' on the entry list!)

Along with John himself who will be personally working on the LC4-50 for Carl, Donna and Martin from Torque Racing will be supporting 4 riders in total at Dakar this year:

    Chris Cork : #104
    Mikael Berglund : #148
    Carl Hagenblad : #159
    Ralf Molander : #163

Mikael's brother Anders (#149) will be riding Malle Moto on a Husaberg this year, as will Guillaume Martens (#158) on a KTM 450 - hardcore!

Let's get this party started eh?

I know they say it every year: "This is going to the be the hardest ever" etc. but this video Myway just posted in the Build-up thread does suggest there will be more autonomy and less support this year?

Certainly there looks to be some long SS this year...

With the vehicles and trucks doing marathon stages there WILL be lots of attrition.. we sure will see who can work on cars and who cant..
