I think they are. A few months ago I needed some accessory parts and they sent them to me quickly. That's all I know.

    Yes and no :deal

We are still in the "taking a break" mode, but we do have some V2 cases and several accessories still available for sale. Send us an email at info@micatech.net and we'll sort you out if you're in need of something.

Just when I think I've found the perfect set of cases for a Yamaha S10 you up and go out of business or retire. When you say you sold the fabrication business, does that mean no more Micatech cases or will someone else be making them?

:muutt Sorry but thanks. Yes, we think they are pretty awesome cases too!

At the current time, there is no more Micatech manufacturing (by us or others). We have a limited supply of V2 cases and other accessories available though. This might change in the future if we start production again (by ourselves or with a partner :deal) and we'll certainly keep everyone updated.

Does anyone know if a DMC hitch will fit under the Pilot Cases on a 2012 GS?

    Thanks

PS my Pilot cases and large top box are great :clap

Question......has anyone tried to get the v2 cases to fit on a new GS? My current ride is getting close to trade in time and I was trying to think of a set of cases I would want...but the micatechs have been so good for 100k plus miles....

Go back one page and you will see as set of V2's on my bike mounted with SW Motech mounts.

Although the bags are superior to anything out there, the SW Motech mounts made them too wide and I couldn't split lanes with them on the bike.

If you have Micatech's bullet mounts, they are model specific.

V2's with SW Motech mounts are transferable. I've had my V2's on 4 different bikes. The SW Motech mounts have quick release mounts, e-z on and off, and I only mount them if I'm using the cases on overnight trips.

When the time comes I will look further into using the v2's I was hoping that the Micatech peeps would be getting the itch to get creative again. I love the boxes but the bullet mounts really seal the deal for me. When the boxes are off you can hardly see the mounts.

Actually I sold them because they were too wide and I couldn't split lanes with them.

If they were the V-Pilot setup I never would have let them go as they would have been about as wide as the heads.

That's what I had on my 2008 R1200GS and they were great.

If anyone has the large bags for sale please let me know. Preferably without exhaust cut outs. Doing a custom set up so specific mounts not necessary.
