In 2004, a couple friends and I on a bike trip stopped at a steak place near SoCal. Didn’t have a steak as it was too early in the day for me. Never knew the spot we stopped but my bud said it was an old haunt. 15 years later a new young friend and I figured out where it might have been. He lives in Arroyo Grande with his new bride. Well, the boss and I headed south a few weeks ago to visit and head to Nipomo and the famous “JOCKO’s” steak house. I highly recommend, but get reservations. At 4:30 in afternoon, it was packed. This is the small filet.
