This is true. However, I am still nursing a bruised ego and have yet to really tell anyone about her. I can't shake off the impression that I'm just some kid who has broken a toy due to negligence only to go out, have his parents buy another, and continue on like nothing happened. This was a life, a critter with a personality, one that I was responsible for.

But... yeah, I got another dog. The loneliness was too much. Though I am still mourning, and even teary eyed as I write this, I need the companionship. For once in my life.

    Go figure.

    RIP Carl Wilson. :cry

Not much you can do about dogs and cars, sometimes it just happens, you are not responsible. Good move on the new pup.

Damn, Alex. I'm so sorry. :cry

If you already had posted that, I obviously missed it.

It was easy to see what a great pup and friend he was.

I lost my best buddy of 10 years in the fall. I know how it feels. Sometimes they are around for a long time, sometimes not. It's never long enough.

Hope you and the new furry friend are doing well. Mine is laying by my side destroying a nylabone. Life is much better with a pup in the house.

I know you can't help feeling that way, but you know (and so do we) that it's not really your fault. Sometimes bad shit just happens and there's nothing you can do about it. I'll definitely miss Carl Winslow, he was a good man. Glad you got a new mutt to hang out though. Carl would want it that way.

He's currently tied up with his world tour and has been shunning us common folk owing to his hectic schedule.....

Rest assured, he truly remains TFN....

You're in the wrong thread for this, hence the lack of any "update". Rest assured, though, it was fun. Many people were reluctant to just let it happen, but once my patented chili based gumbolya kicked in, all was right with the world. Peace, love, beef, and beer.

And yeah, I'm caught up in a net of some sort. This "real life" lifestyle is horseshit.
