Yes! That book gave me some great focus and helped to calm the old grey matter! Used them at a cruddy time in my life. Every little thing helps right?

T- We thought we would update you guys on our little bikes. We dragged them around behind our motorhome for thousands and thousands of kilometers. Eventually though the original owner of Rosie offered to buy both bikes from us. He was married on that little bike and then watched as Channy trashed it!

    I don't think she is reading this......:hide

So Mabel and Rosie went back to him and his wife where they are being loved to bits!

They were just not getting the love they deserved behind our bus. But they came with us out into the Aussie desert, which was amazing by the way, and then went into storage. That was not the life we wanted for them.

But, 6 months after they went to a new home we are missing them terribly. Due to the state of the world at the moment we are holed up in a rental house, the motorhome is in storage and we have gotten, jobs. YUK. So I decided to go and buy another postie. But damn those bikes are hard to find and expensive! They must be made from gold these days.

Eventually after placing an add on a local marketplace I was presented with.....

These are the new postie bikes. Honda NBC110 Super Cubs.

I had a gander at one that I thought I would like, hit the start button, no kick start on these bad girls, and fell in love. In fact Channys face lit up in a huge smile like I haven't seen in ages. And she fell in love. So we bought them both right then and there. Pickup is in two days time and then we are going to start kitting them out for a little bit of adventure. Will they go on a big trip? Who knows. All we know is we miss the on the road life and nothing has filled that gap.

So nice to read all the amazing comments and love form you all even after all this time! That trip was the BEST thing we ever did. EVER.

T- We bought the bikes home today. They need names and adventurising! And licensing. And tuning. And cam chain kits. And chains. And painting. And....and...and.....

What a view out the back window of the ute on the way down the freeway. Look at their little faces.

And of course no postie bike involved trip is complete without at least one flat tyre.

Look at this smile! This is what makes me the happiest. Seeing Channy grin like this!
