This will be my second SPR. I stayed on black top while there. Are there big bike friendly trails in the trail system?

Big bikes can get into the play ground via the second entrance. Don has lead some big bike riders before and it may include dirt roads.

I have ridden out there with Freesoup aka Kasey and he road everything with gs1200, with willful disregard for his bike or his well being.

So it depends on your level of skill. Main trail on the Hatfield McCoy system is mostly rideable with big bike when dry. But if you have never been off road you might ride into the playground via the second entrance and see if you like it and want more.

I'm heading down on Thursday from the Cincinnati area. Flexible on timing.
HMU if you want to co-ordinate a ride down.
    I'll be on on 890R

What did the monkey say when he got his tail caught in the lawnmower.......

Kathy has been setting up a hot bar at Wingos, breakfast should be quick also dinner. I am going to bring my double burner and some pans for all the folks riding in to use.

    ......It won’t be long now.

I’ll put it on the trailer if you’re going. Great trail system up there. Lots of stuff for that GS, you in?

Having never been, how is it for a limited dirt skills rider? I am wanting to get better and more experienced. Thinking of my slightly over-sprung DR rather than the GSA so I can do a little more dirt. I need to get some new tires ordered today though if I decide to join in.

Get new tires on, filler her up with fuel and have fun. There's all level of riding, beautiful country. An old fart like me can have a blast, anyone can.

    Ya man what @Bigfury said.

I will have tire tools, I may not get to it but @Cataclysm009 needs a new front. Past events Vee rubber was there and you could get a killer set of tire for 100$.

bring the DR if you have room bring both.

Hmmmmm... headed for Winston Salem NC on Sat. But maybe I could take Thursday Friday off and GS by on the way there. When are you headed up? I’ve never been so don’t know squat about it.

I am 90% sure I am in but I will be riding there from the Southwest tip of Virginia. If I knew for sure there were going to be tires there I might wait and just get them there.

I don’t know for sure you could call Kathy. Is Rocky Mountain atv on the way? I know some riding in plan to stop there.

    I hate changing tires.

I sent veerubber a message, we will see if they respond. I am unfamiliar with their offerings, so I will have to check it out. I am looking for that perfect 50/50 tire that will give me 8-10k in mileage:photog

Was Rocky Mountain ATV there last year? I should own stock in that company by now ;)
