LOL. Trail wings are the reason I need tires before I go.

Ok. Looks like I’m going too. I took the time off all official like. Between eastern KY and middle NC I’m gonna lay down some miles.

I went with Kenda 270s. I have never run them before so I guess I will see how they do. I really need the "dual" aspect of a dual sport tire.

Unfortunaltely that Tackee tire will only get you about 1200-1500 miles. I just text Donald to see if Gary from Vee was going to be there. I am heading to the Supercross in Atlanta today, so I will post what I find out later tonight or tomorrow. Looking forward to being up there again. See yall soon

It is 6 miles from matewan. You need trail pass if you plan to ride trail. Plenty of stuff for your GS with out the pass.

Oh shit I figured it was halfway somewhere. I don’t think I can get that far Wed. I’d have to ride out at noon. If I sneak out at 4 I figure I can knock a few hours off the trip and be there early enough Thursday morn. I’ll find a state park or something halfway.

Fist year there for me will be this year. I had registered to ride in but at the time expected to leave it's supposed to be 28 deg. DANG. So I hate too but I may have to trailer the big guy in. So is there anyplace to park a truck and 10' open trailer? I will still be camping in the tent.

Yes. Parking on the farm is limited but a second site is available. You won’t be camping near your truck. They have allowed some people to unload in the event then park. Once it gets crowded they may shuttle you with a four wheeler.

call Kathy if you need to.

First time also. Are there trees for a hammock, or should I bring a tent?

I can haul everything on the bike. I intended to ride down and tent camp. But looking at the weather I would be leaving in 28 deg weather for 200 mile run and quite possible returning home in 50 deg and rain on Sun. I just need to park in the vicinity then I can ride in. So if there is offsite parking I am good with that!!! I was starting to get bummed but things are looking up again!
    Thank you!
