Some pix from today riding E.Tn.
Beautiful January day.
Hwy 111 scenic overlook on Flattop Mtn.
Nightfall concert series in Chattanooga. A bike show every Friday night in the summer.
Raccoon Mtn pumped storage station outside Chattanooga. Great place to visit.
I went out on Monday also, trying to get one more ride before the cold and snow:
That's a great looking 350! I wish mine was so nice!
Thanks. it's a 2009 650 though. Probably 10 years newer than the newest 350, so it has a slight advantage. 350's are nice bikes, esp if they are E-start
Oops, sorry lol.
Crazy how similar they look.
My 350 is a 99 and beat all to hell, haha.
Perfect day for a ride today.
I'm jealous, I'm stuck at work all weekend.
Gonna ride to work tomorrow lol, so a ride in the dark at 4am, and then another ride in the dark at 6pm. Womp womp wooooomp...
We can get through winter as long as we have days like today every week or so ! Beautiful day
E.Tn. Experience includes lots of old barns and "at one time homes"
A beautiful weekend in Middle Tennessee.
On the way home from a 470 mile weekend (Hillville, Tn)
Paralleled I40. Went over/under the Interstate 12 times between exits 52 heading east to 172
I got out today in Washington, Greene and Cocke counties. French Broad River at the state line,
just down stream from Hot Springs, NC. (had to go over the line for food and gas)
Same place different bike
Also in the area,
Prizm pix , shooting on the fly , Tennessee byways
Cleaning up the roads from all the runoff water
Water on the road
Old cars along the road way
You up in my neighborhood around Sevierville/Newport...did you stop at Bush’s for lunch? Enjoy your pics.
No lunch , running out of time . This turned into a second option as we were headed toward Cumberland Gap but we were getting wet and headed for the sun ! Looks like it's been wet up there !
Need to follow you around sometime and ride the "good" stuff...
I don't know who among you ever venture to the Southern Woods Rider event in the fall at Loretta Lynn's ranch, but it is a fantastic time. We have been going to it for the past 4 years. We drive from West Michigan. I missed this past year due to a military deployment (35 days left!!!!!). Anyway, thought I'd share what happens when your throttle cable frays at the top of the carb and you don't know it.
Yep, it's a great event. MTDR also promotes a spring ride mid April. A few of us take plated bikes as well and rip up the backroads after playing in the woods. The MX track was under water Wednesday!!
East Blue Creek (I miss that 410)
Hurricane creek dumps into the Duck River nearby, hence the backup and flooding of the campground. Serene fall day...…….
