The bridge is on the Natchez Trace, where it crosses Hwy 96, west of Franklin.
You always see the picture of the Bridge from the entrance to NTP or from 96. If I can dig one up I’ll post it but I’m sure there’s one on here somewhere.
Thought I’d mix it up.
I live 20 minutes from there. My CMA chapter is #940, Murfreesboro TN. I always throw out a '' hey, does anybody wanna ride when I come to your town''. Its a great way to meet other CMA 'ers and we always love being a tour guide of the area. If you come back to Music City, gimmee a holler. Safe travels and be blessed.
Another one on a bridge, most likely not recognized.
The Birdsong bridge...right?
I have bicycled it, motorcycled it,walked it, gone inside the pylon (door was unlocked) and just enjoyed it and the little park underneath.
It is one of the Traces most notable features.
Ha, never knew the name of it.
The last pic is over the Caney Fork River on Betty’s Bend rd.
I recognize it Richard
Thanks. Fun to ride the old ones and get that nastalgic feel sometimes .
That's above 145 outside of Woodbury. That must be an older photo, someone has popped it with a shotgun.
I've always loved the area around Woodbury. If I could find a good job within an hour of there, I'd happily live there.
Cannon County still doesn't have a Wal-Mart or any railroad, by choice of the locals. The place is a little backwards at times, but undeniably peaceful and laid back.
Picture taken last Saturday. Some of the area near, I would be surprised if anything not moving, or slow moving, wasn't a target.
Just purchased some property about 3 miles from Woodbury, hoping to build and move there in about a year.
Heading out, meeting up for a Somerville to Summertown ride. Lunch destination of Shaffer Farms Texas BBQ. First stop Sweet Lips country store outside of Henderson. Next shot is the TN river at Clifton. (128 from 13 to Clifton is phenomenal) BTW, the food was excellent!
