Riding along the Clinch River in on Horton Ford Rd Hancock County,TN.
Nice I see that you can parallel the river up to 58 in KY. Good time of year for riding. We rode 25 from Lafollette to Jellico Monday and there was very little traffic. You parallel the Clear Fork River and RR tracks for a good stretch. Very cool, you can see the tracks elevated going across the river and through the rock in 2 places.
I rode the same stretch for the first time in August, couldn't see squat
The 2nd cross through had a better view but already stopped once so kept on the throttle
Yes I ride that myself quite often and for a bonus I use to run trains on the tracks your talking about.
Here’s a screenshot of that section. Tracks cross the river 5 times and tunnel through twice.
Bill, you must know it well then! Cough cough, that's a fun road too...
This was a bonus during this year's Iron butt Rally. Would have enjoyed the twisty road leading to it (it was on my left when I arrived) if I wasn't so dang tired at that point.
Citico yesterday. Cold but fun.
Holloway Ridge, Cumberland county. You can see the Tennessee Valley including Watts Bar and Sequatchie Valley from the same spot.
Cool overlook and a Tennessee mountain spring
Bits of Macon County
Foothill's Parkway on yesterday's ride.
Is this where you were? Skinner Mountain?
You're inspiring me to retire early
Also good job keeping the motos clean as much as you ride.
I'll just have to tell you it's great to be able to ride whenever I want to, not just when I can find the time. I appreciate your thoughts I do try to keep the bikes clean.
Retirement is great
No, but that does look great! I'll have to check it out! I was kind of between Westmoreland and LaFayette, on West Fork Creek Road. It's pretty close to my house.
I took advantage of a nice day and rode to work. It’s January, so you take what you can get!
