Does it look to y'all that Locals have been connecting Benavides to Village Bend by running down the river then coming up the two track on the south? Just wondering. ;)

Looks like my total mileage for the day will be around 530 miles.

Never been so happy to see Weatherford.

Some pics and a new terminus at the Red River. Y'all will like this. It's just a wee bit past the road closed sign. Named after me, too.

Burned-Out Bridge Road. Like I said, named after the slowoldguy.

My final total for the day, mileage wise, ended up being 570.4 miles.

I'll upload real camera pictures and possibly video tomorrow... and maybe change a tire.

It was about half paved... first on the left... then the right... then it wasn't... then it was.

If it seems like we're going in circles... it's because we're going in circles.

    Look Ma! Uh furain coontry!

Thad and Paisley? It's a hole in the wall inside a town that's in a hole... in a wall. Get the Chili Steak (that's a chicken fried steak smothered in chili and cheese). Real tasty.

Hard parkin' on Perdeoux... or Pidllywink... or... I can't remember how to spell it road. It'd be real nasty when wet since it's mostly red clay.

Nice overlook up near our Northern Border.

All lined up at the new Northern Terminus.

Taking a break on the trail.

    Looking out over the Terminus.

Cool old building in a historical town.

And the end of a long 570.4 mile day.

Nope, this is Deep Down, Edge Road, and Panama two track. I'll try to get what you're talking about up in the next day or so. This video was already over 8 minutes long and 1.3gb in size. I didn't want to put anything else in.

BTW, the GoPro didn't pick up you're fancy rut riding technique in any detail. You're just a little black speck wobbling around.

Here's SOG's "Point Left, Look Left, Go Left" moment. It didn't turn out as well as I hoped... mostly because you can't see him trying to control that 1200gsa bounding along in a rut.

We haven't found anything worse sand-wise than Macabee and that wasn't bad, even on big bikes. My waggle on this road was just a result of falling into a tire rut. Couldn't climb out. lol
