This might sound crazy, but it is going to be traded in next week for another bike. I have it listed in the for sale section for the dealer is going to give me for trade-in. I would rather someone else get it for what they are giving me.
Yes to your answer, the swing was going to be done this winter.

Are the Wilds very loud on the this bike? I had them on my GS and the front was soooo loud that ear plugs didn’t even drown out the racquet.

I'm just breaking in my XC, and my sense is that these bikes are tuned waaaaaaaayy too lean off idle. It's hot as balls in Florida right now, so that isn't any help, but I'm getting the full effect of stalling and stumbling off the line. I'm already looking hard at a booster plug.

I noticed my XE stalling at first, not sure what happened but after a couple hundred miles it went away and starts/takeoffs are very smooth.

I've seen a bit of improvement as well over the last 100 miles or so. I did a 12 minute tune on it, and it was interesting to note that unlike my 2007 Speed Triple, which hunts all over the place and gets pretty animated during the 12 minute tune, there was no drama with it on the Scrambler. Maybe it doesn't work on these engines, but it did seem to do better afterwards. In any case, I think the theory behind the booster plug is sound, and the off-idle issue really seems tied to the Euro 4 emissions rules that necessitate really lean combustion. I don't want to add more pollution to the air, but I don't want to get killed either. If the booster plug helps, I promise Mother Nature I'll make a habit of shutting off the bike at long lights and railroad crossings.

I too had these issues at around my first service and they did An update but intermittent stalling really cheesed me off .
Purchased the booster plug from TEC. And I don’t have to worry about it again . triumph should acknowledge this lean issue , and sometimes dangerous one too but a simple solution and no more problems.

That's nice to hear. I'm hoping for that kind of result.
