Hmmm. I'm obviously a little eager to get riding again.
Hurry up spring!
Cool pictures Osteo
Please ask the questions that Osteo needs to answer in his thread in Vendors. This way, all the info is contained in one place and if anyone else bothers to go through the thread, they will find answers to questions they may have.
Don't lure Osteo into being the new Uber, lol
You guys are swell, brings to my eyes!!
You one of those sensitive men or just too much riding without your goggles?
I heard Uber talking last night about running the P2D on one of these...
Ahh... a Ruckus! - Ironically I mentioned them to Kevin at the bike show on the weekend that that should be a class all on its own! sort of like Class 11 at the Baja 1000 only issue would be the watercrossings - but I guess if you attached 2 helmets upside down they could act as pontoons and you would be fine!
Nah...if the water's too deep, simply carry it across (is there a rule against that?)
Nice bike....I'm pretty sure even Uber could reach the ground on that...barely
Was looking for a little inspiration...
So I went to the airport to meet Patrick Trahan 2010 Dakar finisher 55th overall on a Honda
That is AWESOME! I followed his progress during the rally and it would have been great to welcome him home...he definitely deserves it! Wonder if he might be at the Montreal bike show next month? Would be great to meet him!
Considering the difficulty factor of this years Dakar, he deserves a big
Good on ya to go greet him home.
has anyone asked him to join us wanna bee's on the p2d....?? it would be very cool to see a real DAKAR bike there.....
Shipwrek has been in the P2D last time so we will not need to wait untill open registration. We all know how many open registrants get to go!
Wow! SaWeet! Trahan!
From what I understand he will be at both the Québec City and Montréal shows
That's Great! Like I needed another reason to go to the show! Wonder if there is anyway of finding out the times he'll be there?
Looking for one more team member to join for the P2D. PM me a brief 'riding resume' so we can get an idea of your riding style.
Hey Guys / Gals (as we do get a few ladies brave enough to enter and finish - no pressure... )
The entry info is posted minus the entry fee (sorry, still working on it - lots of factors).
You can find the info Here: in the Vendors forum, page 3, post #35.
What maps will people be using in the P2D on their GPS? I have Toponav Southern Ontario and I just started checking out the Ibycus Topo maps. Would either of these be acceptable or should I be looking at something else?
