Mt. St. Helens ride with Modrover.
A little off road riding in NE Oregon.
See everyone... I DO HAVE FRIENDS!!!!
Way to go Jake! Hey, my wife's Mom came into town last week and... I got to take off on Thurs. for a quick ride up to Crown Point. Damn nice day. We've got to do some long rides soon.
Hey Rubberdown, I finally got to go to this link to hear the Holeshot. I can't access a video from work, and it seems that is when I am online lately.
Anyway, that thing does sound badass! I really like that deep tone.
What is it like just cruising at a constant RPM around 5k? How does it change when you really get on it?
I want exhaust now! My wife is gonna put me in the garage with it though...
It has a nice deep sound when cruising but not overly loud IMO. I do wear ear plugs though. When you really get on it the bike sounds like a nice V-Twin should. I've got an idea! Order the Holeshot and cut the stock pipe off. Then, call your wife in the garage and act very shocked and upset. :eek1 Tell her someone STOLE the muffler off of your new bike and now you have to replace it. If she compains that you really don't need a muffler then start the bike sans muffler and see how fast she changes her mind. If she doesn't buy your story.........................
This could work, I may just have to go that route. Either that, or start skipping lunch and Starbucks.:eek1
here´s my strom in adventure rides. Great bike ¡¡¡
more pics (about 500) from my last trip HERE (Pirineos-Spain) and here (Somiedo-Spain)
Really nice pics Pablo. I bumped your ride report so more riders could see it. Thanks for sharing. Oh and nice bike, getting a weeStrom soon, can't wait.
Beautiful pics Pablo! I'm very jealous of where you live.
My new baby at a local lake. Her first dirt. Brings a tear to my eye.
I remember the first dirt my v-strom saw. Modrover is a bad influence, no wait I was leading. :huh I rember telling him that I didn't think I was going to take it off road, an hour into the ride we found ourselves here. On the way out I jumped it over a wash in the road and bottomed out. It sure aint a dirt bike.
Here is one...
Ok, now one where you can actually see the bike
And a closer one...
Hi folks, here's my new virgin Strom, just home from the dealer.
No luggage or any gear whatsoever yet, but I'm busy planning and scheming.
On second thought, here's a red X for everyone to enjoy.
Welcome to the Asylum StromCrow
Here she is, just waiting for warmer weather.
Rode again yesterday. First day I"ve ridden an weeks when it wasn't cold. It wasn't warm but it was 'not cold'. Been the longest wettest winter I can remember. Rode it all, but not happy for much.

So here is mine. I just picked this up today by chance. Went for a ride this morning on my FZ1 and came home with this 2004 DL1000. It is a used bike with 1400kms on the odo. Came with crash bars and Shad luggage system with brake lights and back rest for passenger. Sorry, no trip pics yet.
