First two pics are from my solo trip to South England and Wales. Last pic is from last night, when a friend and I decided to hit up some trails.

So I've been lugging around a DSLR and lenses, never used it once! Every shot I took on this trip was with my old Samsung S5 cellphone. Think I'll look into some kind of decent Point & Shoot...

I don't carry a "good" DSLR on trips. Top big, too expensive, too prone to getting wet or dusty. I'm pleased with lower end Canon ELPHs, mine lives in my jacket's Napoleon pocket and is easy to deploy, even while riding. Takes good pictures. After about 2 years the dust and moisture kills them so I buy another... around $100 each time. I'm on my 3rd, I think.

Phones have fantastic cameras these days. Why bother with lugging an extra piece of equipment. I use my phone for most all still pics and have a waterproof p&s around my neck for moving pics. Unless you're trying to sell pro photography, your S5 does just fine. BTW, you're giving away the best kept secret in motorcycling by posting pics in WV.

Looks like Hawk Ridge? Or somewhere in that vicinity? Beautiful wherever it is.
