Ordered the Givi pannier racks and medium Tusk aluminum bags on Wednesday. The racks came Saturday and the bags came Sunday. Impressive! Got them mounted and took a short ride today. Rock solid. I drilled the bags and hard-bolted them to the racks. No quick-detach. I have a skid plate and engine bars on order.

Very nice! How does the new version compare to the 2015 that you had? Sure looks better with the new lines........:getiton

Each generation of the strom has been incrementally better! I rode my 2015 back to back with my friend's 2017, and the Gen III feels a little smoother, more refined, and more powerful. But it's not a huge difference...

Nice! Those Tusk "medium" panniers look like just the right size. What's the capacity on those?

    :clap Thank you, sir! :beer

    Hey, here's a question...

I found this page for the 2017-up Vstrom engine bars on the T-Rex site from a google search, but if you go to T-Rex and use their bike selector, the Gen-III doesn't appear. Anyone know what's going on? I sent an e-mail last night and hope they reply today...

    I'm not sure! "Medium"? Lol!

As long as they carry my rain gear, spare gloves, tools, air pump, clothes, some groceries, six pack of beer, small Home Depot supplies, etc. I'll be happy.

Great local ride today. 120 miles of twisty pavement and easy forest service roads. Stock tires at street pressures did fine on the damp gravel.

Planned to on it's original dates but not sure with the reschedule. Looking in to taking some time off to attend. It'll be great riding there at that time and I dont want to miss it.
It'll be pretty close for you, you going?

It’s a twin to mine. Been planning to add some panniers for a while but haven’t gotten the job done yet.
