I look forward to your post's , please keep them coming.

Yes I got out in the wind for a few minutes today.
Just riding around the neighborhood. Got to stay close to home until I get this front brake issue sorted.
ABS lite comes on when I start , then goes off after I'm rolling. Sometimes flashes while riding ??
Front brake lever comes back to the grip , slows me down but today wouldn't stop me. ??
    Fu*#ing technology my ass.

Almost sounds like the brake needs to be blead. Be careful.

Nope no visible leaks. Shook the handle bars while looking at the site glass , can see fluid in there.

Love it! The RD didn't look like that when I bought it, that was after many hours of wrenching to make a sport bike when there were none available back then. I was broke at 16 lol!

I was 22 when I got that KZ. I didn't do anything to it except ride it. I wanted a sportier bike but I was young and stupid. I bought the first bike I looked at and paid the full asking price of $670.

Close ups of that bike are always a good thing. It is almost like seeing a very attractive woman.

Both of you guys could have done a lot worse for your first bikes. Mine was a year old !965 80 Yamaha I bought from a schoolmate for $200. I put 5K miles on it in five weeks. I would have done more, but I only had a junior license and couldn't drive after dusk. That was followed by an almost new 305 Superhawk that I bought at a repo auction for $300 with 700 miles.

I'm still here and didn't make the NZ trip for a multitude of reasons. Mrs. V is there on a business conference enjoying Auckland and she sent me this pic. :D

Out running errands today, the last of the parts for the repair to the GTS have been ordered. So I'm hoping Mario and Luigi are on point to get them to me soon. :)

While I'm preparing the GTS for repair I broke out the heat gun and removed all the Warning labels.

Here in VA you are required to have a vehicle inspection. Some smacktard at the shop put it on the leg shield, grrr... So off with the inspection! I'll have to find another spot to place it.

Pro tip - here's another small pro tip. If you're waxing your Vespa, remove the rubber floorboard strips so you don't get was on the black rubber, they pop right off.

That's all I have for today! Carry on.

Maybe you can put the inspection stickers on the inside of the glove box , or get them to stick on the cargo basket under the seat. Hope you don't have to have them on the front for legal reasons.

PS : I took mine over to the "some what " ( you remember the saga )local dealer to have the front brakes repaired.

I don't know if things have changed, or if it's different for scooters, but I was told when I lived in Virginia that the sticker had to be placed on the lower left fork for motorcycles.
