Re inspection stickers when we used to have to put them on the bikes I picked up a license plate extender and put it on that. Now it is in the system and you need the inspection to renew your registration so it no longer needs to be physically on the bike.

Many locations that require inspection stickers will ticket you for not having it visible and in the prescribed location.

KIMG1605.jpg This is what the retard shop down the street from me did on my GW250. It was so rediculus, I just decided to leave it like that.

Regarding the VA inspection I'll just leave it off. This may sound wacky but I usually do that by design. I'm somewhat of shall we say a swift rider in the sense I ride usually 10 mph faster than the speed limit so I'm prone to get pulled over. Now when I get pulled over usually the officer asked "do you know why I pulled you over?". :mulie I reply, because I don't have a VA inspection? (redirection) hehe Their focus goes from writing me up for XX over the speed limit to a fix it ticket and no points on my driving record. Works like a champ! I was able to peel it off in one piece so I'll just stick it inside the storage bin for the time being.

All my TBT posts will be M/c or scooter related. Figured you folks would get a chuckle at the evolution of The Virginian. :lol3

I'm being made to feel old by that picture. The students had the mullets AFTER! (not during mind you) when I began what was my final career in education...
For the record I bought my first Yamaha from a machinist I worked with. The fact that it was nearly new should have told me something? It was a YDS2 as I recall and it took a bunch of plugs to get you anywhere not so close to where ya started out. Tached out like a chainsaw though.

It is really nice you have photos still in your life from that period. They are a great memory for all of us to enjoy.

I wonder what those Nike's would be worth nowadays? Don't we all wish we'd bought two pair, one for saving!

Like Michael said, good on you for being able to access those old photo's, classic. Keep 'em coming brother!

The old gal needs a new windshield so I'm taking care of that today. $150 for the windshield plus labor.

To keep some scooter content in my thread as well I was out running errands yesterday. Good night it was hot, pushing 100*F yesterday and my gear was just sticking to me.

Stopped by Sonic for lunch. They're one of the last drive up get served in your car type joints.

There is a Sonic in Key West. I had a friend's unwanted tater tots and hey were delicious but I fear h calories. Oh and the scooter content looks nice. Looks unscathed.
