What is the award? My good man, the adventure of a life time! Few ( very few indeed) get to actually do this.

Hi LGB - the award ceremony is tomorrow night (Saturday) - tonight was a warm up with Juan playing bass in the blues/jazz/country jam band!

for info. The ACCA awards are for aviation content on YouTube/social media, and Juan specialises in analising industry and air-crash investigations... that is when he’s not talking about civil engineering and adventure motorcycling of course!

We’ll let you know how it goes tomorrow night... then the journey home begins on Sunday!

    More soon...

    @visualizerent

^ Really excellent video. Perfect mix of riding and the reasons we ride - the riding, the experiences, the new places, the learning, the meeting nice people and the great time doing it all.

Looking forward to the next installment.

Thank you RockyDS. :-) Exactly what I was thinking.
The combination of of still photography and video, with the accompanying informative dialogue makes for an entertaining, yet informative narrative. Look forward to more posts!

Hee hee - only in Kansas - they are particularly territorial with regard to the section which runs though their state ;o)

We did wonder if the lady in the museum was joking with us, but it’s been confiremed by some other residents too.

You say tomatoe, I say tomato... (but if yoy say Legos*, I kill you!)

*There should be an outtake in the full length video edit of that discussion... I say discussion, there is no disccussion - it’s Lego, plural.

“I very rarely post selfies... but when I do, I make sure I’m flying in a f**king biplane!!!

    Good times!

    Jenny x

ps. I also got a short go at the controls of the Lockheed 12 (which Juan was flying in the video above) this morning... what an awesome weekend all round!

pps. If the pilot (Austin Clemens) of the Stearman looks like a kid in the photo, it’s because he is just 17 years old! - and has been flying ever since he could reach the controls!

I’m lovin’ this thread. And can’t thank Juan enough for his RR vids (and Jenny’s help for the past couple of years) with my RR Level 2 upgrade. I worked halfway through the steering head bearings today and couldn’t have gone this far if I hadn’t referenced Juan’s vids.

Congratulations on the trophies, Juan; and fair winds to both of you.

    Amazing RR.

As a side note: It's a mistake that Juan isn't the go-to contributor for aviation-related news stories in broadcast media.

So true. I watch him instead of the news, straight to the point and no politics allowed. Suggest all of you subscribe to his channel. He also seems to know his way around civil engineering as well. Great guy and hope to ride with him someday! Imagine sitting around a campfire with him. Man endless knowledge could be absorbed...

Many people gave those aeroplanes much love so that they would look so fine. I’m also enjoying the ride along on the motos. Take Care Petepilot
