    Well, it's hard to beat a KLR... unless you have ridden something else!

    One thing about the KLR: it will always get you there. And before anyone throws virtual flames my way, I have owned 2 of them...

    I rode a rental KLR 7000 miles through every good part of Alaska. Bike never missed a beat. Had 35K on the clock prior to my departure. Big wide open roads they are great. Get them in anything technical you will be :(. I would ride one again however and the TAT is probably where it will be.

    Jenny and Juan you guys rock and great RR!

    Great ride report, and the videos on youtube add to the experience. This is bringing back lots of memories. Most of them pleasant. The two flat tires, not so much. (see "Marilyn Across America" on Amazon}

    Now that Big Dog also has a CB500X, and after watching you two wrestle them up and over the Colorado passes, not to mention the single track section of the Continental divide, at Marshall Pass, I'm not sure whether to run out and buy one, or take up bull riding.

    As a former soaring pilot, I can attest that Juan's aviation videos should be seen by every pilot, previous, current or aspiring.

    Jeff----they make a kickstarter conversion for the CB500X:lol3:lol3
    In the kit comes a starter button delete.
    You'd be right at home after kicking that XR560R.

    These 2 are worlds ahead of my in riding ability.
