I like this pic, it tells how you all enjoyed the trip.
MJ thats a great story!
You forced me to the PC until the RR ended. Great writing, great pics and a wonderful family.
Waiting for the next RR
Another MJ classic.
Always a pleasure to read your fantastic ride reports.
I'm staying at home, it's a Zoo out there! Thanks you 3, I really enjoyed your travel log. If everyone had parents like you this world would be a much calmer place. Thanks again
MJ and his family kinda rode thru the zoo! And took pics! <BG>
Most spectatular RR... I can't wait for the next one. Some of his photos are totally beyond words.
Great ride, Great family, Great pictures, Great text ! It took me 2 weeks to look and read the whole thread.
Even though I can understand if you want to stay home for a while, thinking of the great memories you got, I'm looking forward to your next ride (report)
so there's another way to get to Namibia
Basically, it's a conservation thing looking fror volunteers....ok... PAYING volunteers~ <G>
12 weeks for only £3,245, only about $500 a week US.... + your airfare, I suppose...
Or you could just work with the big cats.... for the same $$$...
Guess I'll just reread this thread... way cheaper<G>
Please add my kudos to the ever growing pile you have already amassed.
I'm seeing a ton of pictures in here that would be a great addition to the Dads & Daughters' thread.
Feel free to repost anytime, mj!!
Thank you so much for posting this awesome adventure of yours. I've been reading this and your other reports over and over and loving every bit of it.
To the MJ family
I just wanted to thankyou for sharing your amazing trip . I grew up in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe to those who are politically correct ) learnt to ride there and miss the countryside. You brought back wonderful memories of the bush and wildlife.
As many people have already commented, you should really consider publishing your trip. You photos and writing are worthy of publishing and yes I would buy a copy. I have forwarded the link to your trip to many friends, some who ride and some who dont and all have been amazed.
Well done to all 3 of you for completing the trip and making great memories
All the best
Another incredible report. The Angola report brought me here and changed a lot of things for me.
Wow, great pictures and report. Thank you for sharing it, this is a great inspiration for our next ride.
MJ - I was scrolling through some of the "other" pics from the ride - not too shabby.
Another great MJ story!
Reading it reminds me how fortunate I am that my wife shares my enthusiasm for riding.
We have a "Peanut" of our own, but she's a dog. Oddly enough, she's a Boerboel.
Many happy returns to you and your family.
Hi guys...just read the report and loved it

Thaaaanks, this is so unbeliveable trip, bravo for your children, your beaytiful wife and you man! My wife speak to me:"he is mad like you, hahhahaha . This is the madest story I wroten ever, cheers and all the best. I will soon to go in South Africa, maybe we meet which another
Just re-read this ride report. Quite possibly one of the best ever posted here.
cute and very interesting peanut looks a bit sad though ?
This was beautiful.. My Fiancé loves reading it with me.. It really inspires her too. She has always had a fear of motorcycles and would even cry being on a highway on the back of the bike... She keeps trying though and recently has been able to stay calm on the back. She is inspired by your wife and soon will be taking classes on some 250 cc bikes. she really looks forward to doing something like this in the future with me and later with our own child.
thank you for sharing this :)
