Found an original and untouched Super 10. Great condition, full history and enough paperwork to fill a one inch file. 27yrs old and looks like it came out of the factory yesterday ! Only change is a GPR pipe, everything else is original.
Has been in a collection for nearly two years with no use but maintained.

Thanks, time to put some miles under its tyres. Its been too pampered
Looking at changing a few things immediately, will remove white hand guards, lilac coloured front disc covers, and lilac coloured fork gaiters. Will install :

    1) Black neoprene fork gaiters
    2) Progressive front fork springs and thicker oil
    3) Braided brake hoses
    4) White headlight bulbs
    5) Smaller Indicators
    6 ) Black wheel rims
    7) Black engine bash plate

Can anyone chip in and let me know which headlight bulbs to put in without chopping the loom ? I’m pretty sure i have the Italy/UK 35w 35w configuration
Also where is the best place to grab a set of black wheel rims ?

    Cheers

I replaced my dual 35W tea candle headlight assembly with a H4 + H1 unit from a XTZ660 with the original loom triggering relays to turn them on. (I bought matching plugs for the original loom so I didn't have to cut anything there)
I believe the TDR125 had a dual H4 headlight assembly that fits our bikes, but when I was working on mine I couldn't find any.

There's a guy on various facebook groups for the XTZ750 who sell headlights with clear lenses (Christof Ra). He uses polish lamps and mounts them in the original headlight plastic.

Woonjas - good info, i have the tea candle 2 x 35w as well. Will look into what you have stated and see what i can come up with.
Was also looking for a centre stand so i could work on the bike but couldn’t find one online, might just get a platform jack instead.

Hello Fellow Super Tenere 750XTZ'rs! Been watching this thread for a while and good to see all the ongoing enthusiasm for this great 90's Rally Bike!

I have a 1992 ST that I bought new in Japan while working there in 93/94 and brought it back to California with me after riding it in Nihon for 7000 miles.

The bike was ridden throughout the California Sierra Mountains east and west in the 90's & early 2000's before the onslaught and trend of the the
contemporary "Adventure" bike. Only GS's and a rare Transalp to be seen back then! The bike has always been well looked after and never crashed. In 2004 I bought a first generation KTM 950 Adventure and the Tenere hasn't seen any exploring since...

Still have it in the garage and recently completed an in-frame restoration and mild Resto-Mod at 45K miles and wanted to share!

The bike doesn't get ridden anymore and I have it listed on Craigslist in San Francisco Bay Area if anyone in the States is interested. Don't really want to sell it but feel it may be time to let go and find the SuperT a new home!

Please don't inquire about how I got it plated in California as it was a long time ago! Thanks ;-)

Carry on with all the cool bikes and Super Tenere Heritage!

    Cheers, Tenere
