Doug, if that really is where Lesbians come from your shim bar quest should really take a turn :lol3

At least you won't offend the cat with the smell of fish heads when you get back.

I am in your pocket for this one. You are gonna list :lol3

Looking forward to reading all about it.

Don't you have bike pics to add by now?

Another awesome adventure. Will be sure to follow along. If you are in need of anything in northern Greece (from parts, tools or just a few moto travelers to chat with and share a meal.) send a pm.

Northwestern Greece (near Albanian border) has some really nice areas worth checking out if you have the time (Kastoria in particular). PM if you are interested in more info.

    Good luck on your travels:clap

LOL:roflHell you live so far to the north I'll bet you get mistaken for a yank all the time.

Bike looks allot different from when I seen it in Dec. Looks great. Saddle bags look a little low though.

The flight to Frankfort was ok, altho delayed due to the euro ash cloud, I got here about 7 hours later than planned. Flight was ok tho, & as the seat next to me was empty, I was able to sleep a little bit. Klaus from Chopper Club Germany picked me up, & we went to his house to wait on the bikes. I was hoping they would be here today or tomorrow, but of course, US customs were dickin around, & didnt even clear the bikes til monday morning, & wouldnt fly til Wednesday.
Liam from Ireland showed up wed, & Poly got here thurs. We just sorta hung out seein some sights for a few days.
Bikes finally arrived here saturday morning, (seems they went to Luxembourg, & had to be trucked the rest of the way) but as the CCG party had started & was 200km north of here, we just got the crate from the airport, unloaded the bikes, & rode to the party with Klaus & Bianca in the van.
I shipped with cargolux, very nice people, & Lennie, the agent at the airport was very helpful, & they let us uncrate the bikes at the cargo terminal, as we had no way to haul the full crate. Nothing was damaged, which was nice. I will use them for future shipments.

we went to the Polo store, a big bike gear chain in germany, as Poly wanted a helmet, & I always find stuff that I think I cant live without.

they had a cafe there also, which was handy, to have a place to sit while Poly shopped for new pants.

she tried every pair at least once, and of course I had to stand there & give my opinion on each pair.
I keep telling her get what you like, but she seems to always want my opinion.
'does my butt look big in these?'
jesus, just buy a pair of pants.
    hahaha

a cool thing in the store is the wind tunnel, where you can sit on a bike & try helmets at speed.
    pretty cool idea!
when you twist the throttle, the wind gets faster. it pegged out at 122.8kph tho
of course she had to try every helmet also.

I didnt need a helmet, but I needed to try out the wind tunnel

The CCG party was fun, I got to see many friends & as usual, made some new ones.
My friend Ljubisha from Macedonia flew up for it also.
There were several cool bikes there, but my favorite was this shovelhead
    [IMG]
I liked the headlight, he said it was from a tank

Glad it has started, after hearing Polly's tale of her ash delays getting back to Bulgaria ,when we stopped by with Nik and Chris Sunday before last for lunch at the Motocamp, and after hearing other ash cloud reports we thought you would be days late getting to Germany. We left Bulgaria Saturday and missed it stopping us getting back to the UK ...damn wish we could have stayed longer, we should have booked a Sunay flight and we would still be there :D

Looking forward to further reports of the ride.

One of the things I always liked about Germany was that they take motorcycling seriously. Doesn't look like too munch intermingling between different types of motorcyclists anymore though.
