Attempting to fix this 1970s Gibson copy(Tempo) I have a couple of other guitars, the main one I'm learning on when I'm not riding is a Col Clarke

The other thing I do is hunt for German Steins, I have a few ranging from 40mm high to 300mm, this some of them.

Learning to fix guitars was something i got into for a couple of years when i first retired, re-fret and level re-profile etc, if in the right mood very therapeutic. Currently between homes and workshops hence two unfinished projects gathering dust but will resume guitar work by the end of the year, strictly a hobby for me, when something doesn't turn out as planned i find it crushing. Had a lot of fun gathering the tools and learning the techniques of using them. I was encouraged and learned a little from a bloke i used to work with, he is now retired and does the luthier thing full time, he's in "the shire", if you want his details p.m. me.:bubba

Here's a pic of a Tempo and the bridge I'm after, having a lot of trouble finding this particular bridge or similar.

Fantastic effort with the home built race car. Had to laugh at the book title "build your own race car for 250 pounds" more likely that 250 pounds was the square root of the final tally!:thumb
