Looking forward to the photo's you have!

It has been a bit crazy for dfc and I also. I just finished helping my sister yesterday with the funeral and post funeral stuff for my brother-in-law. He leaves behind two very cute little daughters. There is so much love and compassion from family and friends - they will be taken care of.

We have a very funny video of Jiffy-pop popcorn!!! I'm not sure how to get that posted on ADV. Thanks Sasper, for sharing and being a good sport and making us all some popcorn. It turned out great!!!

    :lurk

My Edit: Added a missing period.

Sounds like he's had some weather issues. He should be here around 9pm if the KLR can handle the "heat and tornado's"

p.s. We found a small REI bag in the bathroom of the cabin. It's kinda dainty so.. well if its yours.. I'll trade you for my mesh pants : )

Maybe you should be wearing your helmet all the time!On and off the bike.Stitches do add character.Looks like a guy who could spit nails in your face.Nobody would ever punch this guy in the nose.Wonder if I could just cut and paste some on to my forehead.

I like your attitude too.Getting the picture is the most important thing-once the profuse bleeding has slowed.Hope the stitches don't itch too bad.Oh,sorry for reminding you.

If you think I look bad, you should see that parking lot.

They got tons of photos. Tuesday I should be able to get the ones of me flying through the air, twitching like a dying bug, lying there bleeding, etc.

Non-motorcycle, non-horse, non-violent result of body meeting pavement.

Okay,if all these things are ruled out-------I got it. You were so drunk that you puked, slipped on your own regurgitation and hit your head.Hey,it could have been worse if that lumpy, gooey stuff wasn't deposited there to break your fall.

You will have such a good time you will soon realize we didn't lie to you about this trip...

Starting a RR soon or did I miss it while looking up for it????

Ride safe, have fun and use those skills you learn at the rallye (like doing popcorn on a bonfire)...:lol3

Here's the list of everyone's name and contact information that was at the ralley. I took a snapshot of it while at Greg and Elizabeth's house the other night.

I'm stuck in Hutchinson, MN right now waiting for a new front and rear sprocket to come in. My chain busted and I might as well get a setup of everything after 12k miles on my current setup. I'm held up in a cheap little motel catching up on RR and website stuff, until I hang out with the waitresses I met last night :evil

I started a RR and have updated posts on my website. If I was you, I'd follow along via the website, as I'm going to be adding some cool features and building it out into a more professional blog while I go.

I think you'll do just fine on your journey...

Great to meet you buddy. Have an awesome ride and try and wait until Mexico for your next breakdown - much cheaper and way more fun.

The website looks great. I made some cheap little stickers with a photo of me and a map of my route while down in Mexico. I think I paid $5 for 200 stickers. They were great to hand out to people along the way. The cops really like it too and it might help you through the process. :deal

    Hey guys,

I've been hard at work getting the website up and running. Check it out at www.MotorcycleMexico.com. It's a work in progress but it's coming along well. Along the way I'll be blogging and you can subscribe for email updates by clicking the link below.

Thanks again for everyone who helped with interviews. I'm headed back to Mexico in 3 short weeks to finish filming. Anyone with some free time interested in getting some tacos? :evil

I'm leaving NH on September 10th, speaking at the Overland Rally in California on September 23rd and then headed south. I'll be in Mexico for about 5 weeks and before riding back to NH. The plan is to go down Baja and then the mainland - who knows from there. I'm really excited for this project. The trip is going to be lots of fun but also lots of work. I'm excited to encourage other riders to ride their dream through Mexico. :ricky

What's your plan? November departure? How's it all coming along?
