    that is your choice and I understand it entirely. I was thinking more that for us that already own, and like the Himalayan, this is an inspiration to make changes to what we already own

    I'm thinking about a new Himilayan but not that bike. New Hima here is about $5600 out the door not including sales tax.

    I like it too. Always good to see someone going the minimalist way. I mean, seriously, Triumph's new "James Bond edition" has heated seats. REally? Do you associate heated seats with Jim Bond?

    It looks cool but the Himalayan is such a dog performance-wise it seems like bolting a huge spoiler to a Civic.

    I don't hate the brand since the price is low, commensurate with the performance. Cheap + relaxed is OK.

    But then why spend $$ to make it look sporty, when it's not.
