This ride report will chronicle our adventure to New Hampshire In August 2020 during the time of Covid, which we hope will not put a damper on our ride. I’m taking the tiger: here she is all loaded and ready to go. Steve’s 1150GS: Adam’s Road King: I’m using the Scenic Motorcycle Navigation app on my iPhone to plan our daily routes. Here’s what is planned out so far: We plan to stay off big roads, minimal highway miles, less than 300 miles a day, hotel sometimes but camping mostly. I premixed some post-ride cocktails to bring along: ...clearly this will not last more than a day or two.... We planned to meet at Adams on Thursday and begin our Adventure on Friday, but Steve couldn’t wait to begin, so he and I met at Harpers Ferry Brewery for a quick one: The Rye Porter and Cordial Brown Ale were tasty. We camped in nearby Brunswick Family Campground, conveniently located adjacent to the CSX switching yard. Steve prepared a delicious camp meal of chicken mushroom masala over mashed potatoes. It was then that I realized I had no mess kit..... The soothing sounds of shunting rail cars lulled us to sleep. Good times. Day -1 in the books. Steve and I set out for Adams house Thursday morning, breakfast at Beans in the Belfry in Brunswick. No picture but it was yummy. We meandered North toward Adams, stopping at Cunningham Falls, which was somewhat disappointing but there were some redeeming features we found admirable. Now we are at Adams house getting ready to head to Cosima for dinner. Pics to follow. Tomorrows plans include a rendezvous with @beantop and @eddie bolted who is letting us crash at his place, conveniently located close to the Yeungling brewery tour!
