Oh yes we are.....
Drinking with Steve
.....so after Steve and I left Adam's house this morning, Adam goes on Craigs List to look for an adventure bike and look what he found:
he’ll be joining us here on ADV real soon.
He plan on riding to Starbucks?
He’ll have to learn to ride standing up!
Oh he was jealous of me and Steve standing up on our bikes to give our sore asses a break on our ride....
I stopped for my 10:30 espresso today and was highly disappointed.
I booked 3 of the campgrounds and most likely will be reminded of that far into the future.
I had had enough of work so talked Tom into meeting me at Harper's Ferry for a few beers then we camped down the road.
Well the campground was between the river and a railyard transfer station (which prevented us from walking to the micro brewery) but more importantly they blow the train whistle everytime the cars start to move
This should have been a disaster but the lady camping across from us saved the day with ice and soda for our mixed drinks.
She works for a very large vineyard/ winery ( most winery's buy from large production facilities). I now know more about wine business.
I didn't get a single picture until the next day when we rode out to Cunningham falls. It would have been more impressive with water
The next night we stayed at Adam's then Eddie's after that my second site Ox-bow Campsites and scrap yard. After the loud music and car alarm at three I am surprised that they allowed me to book the third site.
At Ox-Bow I found a few things that I want to flat bed home. Here is one.
Well the patience paid off the third site had a food wagon, clean showers, and great wifi.
I think the humidity reading is off.
I would like to thank @eddie bolted and @Wood1 for putting us up and feeding us .
Eddie the Yuengling tour was on my bucket list.
Jack the trip out was uneventful and it was great of you to host us, I Enjoyed talking with your mother and father.
to hell with the ride report, wazzup with that Bronco?
Well you have seen all the food and I am not good at taking pictures while riding so I will drop a few that I took randomly along the way. Sorry about any 205's
Freestyle ski jump traing area, they land in a swimming pool.
I am clueless on this any ideas? (Taken @ the Lake Placid training center)
Just because I like barns.
Adam pointed this out while we sat in traffic
A ski jump ramp
Nagano in the summer.
Amazing the difference between them just 18 years apart.
the MOLs should have done a pre/post trip weigh-in, with a 1st Annual (?) VAC Most Robust Eater award given to the MOL with the greatest gain
