[Tibet] A sweet afternoon teatime in the ancient monastery......

    After sending all the customers to their GREAT OVERLAND PLATEAU RIDING (or whatever you call it......) I have some free time for myself......

    New toy is ready in Lhasa, I took it to one of my favorite place in Tibet and see some old friends......

    Altitude : 3865m elev.

    This place is one of the most ancient Buddhist sites in Tibet.
    It was built in 7th century by King Songtsen Gampo.
    Most of the important people in Tibet history all meditated here (which includes King Songtsen Gampo, King Trisong Detsen, Guru Rinpoche, Tibet's first 7 monks and so on...)

    I parked in the monastery and there's no parking fee.... great......:clap

    I see this beautiful stuff , built long ago, and think. How long did it take to complete, how did they rig up to hoist the stones, how did they shape them. Amazing engineers and workers. Just WOW!
