My current occupation required me to be at Lost Dutchman State Park for a Family Campout this weekend. The weather was fantastic so I decided to visit the Apache Trail once again. I took a few pictures along the way and back and decided to add them to this humble Day Trippin' report.

    Enjoy.

The Apache Trail is a fantastic ride if you don't mind a little dust and aren't in a hurry. It will look different each and every time you take it.

    Hey Dankmonkey,

Thanks for having a look at the RR. I really enjoyed yours, even though the weather was a little unkind to you. Arizona really is a great state for a dual sport rider, and the wonderful part about living here is that, unlike on vacation, if the weather isn't agreeable -- there's always tomorrow.

BTW, I really like that van. We used to have one and I've regretted selling it.

As I've told you, you won't regret it. We've got tent space and I might be able to nudge you in the right direction from here.

That was good reading and fine photos. I side tracked and read your Crown king RR too. Camped at Black Canyon for a month and explored lots. Did you every see the Sheep Bridge?
Also headed for Prescott one day, got to CK, then the Senator Hwy.
what a joke, I thought Highways were smooth. Sign said road not maintained, they should have said EVER!
Camped for week at Buckskin SP in 2007 ( first year as snowbird) 2 weeks at La Paz, played golf at Emerald cyn. nice.
I see I read your report in 2015 , you replied , thanks.
