Radio guys were saying he was AA rated. They were impressed since he is like a walk-on without current experience. Someone will fund the circus tour, I agree with that.

as in he has aa talent right now, or aa is his ceiling? :D he'd get demolished in aa right now.

he's got power. but can't hit, can't field, can't throw, and is just a wee bit faster than average. he rated out as a quarter tool (raw power, can't apply it) player. ;D

there is talk of a few league teams expressing interest in giving him a minor league contract, but his only offers so far are venezuelan winter ball (which is legit and he should take if he's serious about giving baseball a try) and some pr hungry independent teams (one of which has wrestlers nwo 'managing' the team friday).

Would have been so much easier to play CFL.

So the Mets signed him. He's to start in the instructional league. But he's taking 2 days off per week for ESPN. So much for him being serious about making a career of it. :rolleyes

Picking the Mets is an interesting choice. He could have gone to a lower-profile club and avoided the New York media. He said it's not about camera-time and I believed him. Now I'm not so sure.

Tebow said concussions figured into his decision to play baseball...well, there was that, and the fact that he sucked at playing an NFL QB.

Crazy the attention a home run in the instructional league is getting. Bonkers.

He's just playing at playing baseball until he gets some gray hair and then he'll enter politics.

I think the Cleveland Browns could use a QB just about now. Bernie Kosar may be reactivated! :hmmmmm
