Not sure if you're being facetious, but no, don't worry about swallowing tongues during seizures, so no putting anything on anyone's mouth during a seizure, just roll them on their side if you must do something.

Back to Tebow performance though... he continues to be really, really bad. For someone who's supposed to be super athletic... he doesn't look it. He's pretty slow, bad reaction time, bad arm, bad reads, can't catch up to fastballs, doesn't adapt... He looks big and strong, so I guess people assume he's athletic, or maybe he was and it's all gone already, but damn, he ain't showing it anywhere. Pitchers are just feeding him fastball after fastball, and even knowing that, he's only been able to get a couple bloopers out of the infield.

Oof. It's against Scherzer and all, but he still can't catch up to a decent fast ball, even in spring training (before pitchers are full strength). Most at bats are not quite this bad, but many 3 pitch strike outs for Tebow.

Pretty sure that results matter to his employer.

Maybe. But I'm pretty sure they know darn well that Tebow isn't a major league player.

But he brings some interest to their Class A team, sells some jerseys, and creates some excitement. And it costs the employer nothing but a minimal minor league contract.

Somewhat disagree. The Braves were interested in signing him. They're definitely not about spurious publicity. I think it's reasonable to want to see if an excellent athlete who has a drive to succeed, might be able to achieve something. Pretty sure that's where the Braves were coming from.

Tebow homers in his first at bat in the season opener.

The pitcher was the 666th pick in the 2015 draft. I believe this is true.

Woohoo, Tebow promoted from Low A ball! :-D

And results DO matter to the mets - hence this promotion. No, he hasn't been good - he's been really, really bad (low A pitchers have been feeding him pretty much all fastballs and he can't do anything with them), but attendence is up where tebow plays, and the Mets own the high A team, whereas the low A team is just an affiliate, so now they'll benefit from the increased ticket sales. Woohoo!

Ha, no. You don't promote someone with those numbers to take away coaching time from actual prospects.

So the Mets new GM said the Tebow is likely to start in AAA and could make opening day roster. Ha! What a clusterfuck of a baseball team.

(The Mets new GM had no experience in baseball ops. He was - wait for it - an agent. Tebows agent). Haha Mets fans!

I was sad. Wanted it to be Las Vegas like it used to be. Tebow in Sin City.
