Time to check your generators. Specifically, check the fuel line for cracking.

You'd think we live in Puerto Rico seeing the mass hysteria at Costco for water. Brother unit had to go for shop supplies and there was a line marked of through the store so the dingbats could get their water.....:fpalm
Needless to say that brother unit fled the store and will get the shop supplies another day.....

I went yesterday for water, a bag of trail mix, and a Costco pack of sardines. That should get me through a Cat 2 cane, right?

Just found I was running low on salami, so... might get another stick of that this evening. I'd like to say I'm set, only because I don't feel like buying shit I wouldn't eat if we don't lose power for days.

Cases of MRE's, even with Amazon Prime, now aren't arriving until Tuesday.

All gas tanks topped off, yard fairly secured. I'll strap down the bee hives, corral up the chickens, and get a nice indica leaning hybrid. If Dorian gets closer.
I will hit Walmart after another cup of coffee. I don't want to rush into that yet. But, other than fresh produce and dairy we're good.
If anyone is at a loss and needs a gen if she hits, pm me. My 5.5kw should be available.

    That's just beyond words.....:fpalm
At the same time this area is in full panic mode with Cosco and Pubix out of water. My friend had to get propane and she got the last tank as the dumbass in front of her didn't want to swap tanks... :loco

Sadly it’s just going to get worse each time until the sheep realize the time to prepare is before a disaster strikes. It’s not hard to have grub, gas, and water to carry you through something short term.

First disclosure: I did stop and get a honey bun because carbs don’t count in a Hurricane.

Second disclosure: I already ate the honey bun

Try the Boston Cream version of the South's honey bun. Two worlds colliding perfectly.
