Heading up there from Toronto on a 12GSA. Have tourances now. Should I switch to TKCs? Are they necessary up there? Where in Ontario/Quebec can they be found?

    Thanks.

We did the trip last summer on Tourances and it was fine. I would have preffered tks though. Especially for all the sand we ran into outside GooseBay.

If you could do the entire trip on one set of tkc's I would. If not then I would just run the tourances.

I just got back from my Goose Bay trip yesterday and I think the tourances will be fine as long as you stay away from the deep sand and gravel berms on the bottom of the hills and in the corrners. If you get into that stuff I don't think the tire choice will matter. My riding partner went down 3 times from getting crossed up on the bermed up sand and gravel.

I've never been there myself, but a friend and I are headed that way from SJ. When are you heading over?

I made the trip a couple years ago on Tourances. They were fine.
