oh man, the tourances will love that..
Looks like a bridge to me. Here are some pictures of the workbench I took down off the back wall of my garage. It is 9-1/2 feet long and 22 inches wide. 2x4 runners with 2x8 planks on top.We forgot to measure the creek crossing but it might work.
we cut wood:
and shot guns:
If the pictures don't come up (my first attempt to post from smugmug) look here https://skeeter.smugmug.com/gallery/294813
Do we have an updated forecast? It should warm up enough mid week to clear the roads, but I need to know how many dogs I should bring so I'll stay warm at night.
Now we're talkin' that bridge looks like it will produce some great photo ops !
I don't understand the whole need for a bridge over that bitty thing of a creek?
Thought you and Queenie were getting a room so that you didn't have to fight off all the volunteers you'll have to keep you warm.
I might pay her a visit to borrow some hot water, but I'm no stranger to camping in the snow.
Keep talkin, you'll be the first one to take a swim.
you are comming. arent you?
How many street oriented, non creekable bikes?
1 street bike for Annie, unless the roads are icy.
Work-permitting, I'll try to show up on my street oriented, semi-creekable bike. Unless I steal the F650 sitting in my garage!
Actually, I was planning on being the first to fall in the creek! It sounds like Skinner will have a motion activated camera set up to share the moment(s) with all.
don't worry the paparazzi will be there..
what is the size of the heads on your Ice screws guys?
dennis kirk is out of the real thing so I am gonna hit up a big bag of the cheap ones and bring a driver with me.
Who thinks we might have some folks with flats from the other guys screws?
anybody got a BIG magnet to clean up all the screws from the trails?
looks like highs in the 40s all week this is gonna be interesting just getting into the farm if it's not frozen. :huh
I dont know whats worse, wet muddy crap or snow
should be an interesting ride.
either way, the gravel wont be dusty. not that I have a problem with a little dust
head count time
pop over to this thread and post if you are still in
This is gonna be a blast
(I'll put this post in the 30 or 40 threads we have going on the winter ride)
The gold ice screws have a 1/4" head. I'll be bringing a couple of cordless drills, spare tubes, a tubless tire patch kit and a 12v air compressor if I can find it.
sure about that?
