Music such as “It’s raining men, Hallelujah” on repeat, as loud as possible.

I don’t hate Harleys, I just don’t understand how they get so little HP out of so many CCs.

I agree, throw out the current unworkable exhaust laws and simplify it like Europe is.
The easy way for the government to fix it is follow Europe's lead where it is illegal in some countries to change an OEM exhaust system at all. Cannot be modified or replaced without the new exhaust having the EU approval on it.
The wankers with loud exhausts will feck it for everyone once again.

    Again?
I've been hearing loud exhausts on bikes and cars for better than 50 years.
When will this 'wrecking' happen exactly?

It's been happening for over 50 years.
I could ride my BSA Bantam across the creek in a park and in the bush about half a KLM away. That was inner Brisbane. Then after getting a licence I could ride 10 KLM in 3 directions and ride all day without pissing people off or getting in their way. Then the noisy MX bikes and trail bikes started to appear and they definitely pissed a lot of people off. Slowly but surely all riding areas close to Brisbane started getting locked up with a sign with a motorbike with the red circle around it and a red cross through it.
    Mostly because of noise.
Now we have to travel anywhere from 40 KLM to 100 KLM to get onto dirt where we are allowed to ride now.
Yes, there has been expansion of neighbourhoods as well, but that is who the noisy bikes piss off no end each weekend and holidays.
Maybe it is different where you live.

Then there are the highly discussed pirates who have to have loud bikes to ride slowly in front of people. For every person who turns around and looks with appreciation there would be close to double figures who are pissed off about it.
