    Fingers crossed.

Is it just me that rather wants his bike from Dakar this year? Love to know how they managed to carve 10kg out of it, hope like hell its not out of the bits that like to break...

Its a shame that mainstream Australia doesn't realise what we have here.

    Why?

Anyway, he's hardly invisible. Mitsubishi obviously regard him as widely known.....enough to build a ute TV ad around him.

He is a world champion, and yes there are many Australian world champions that dont get the recognition they deserve but that dosnt make it right. Instead the press is filled with tennis players that weren't smacked as kids, football players who think they are bigger than the game, loudmouth boxers that cry when they get beaten and cricket players who give up chances to represent their country because they get a bruise.
Even within the umbrella of our sport we have Jason Doyle, and many other enduro champions who every day Australians never get to hear about. Maybe if they started throwing tantrums, taking drugs or making a general f**kwit of themselves they would make the news

After some of the horrific injuries, he has had and still is super fast. Hope he does exactly as I expect and cruises to a win. Such a great attitude he has.

I just found what I was really looking for. SBS Sunday January 7, 1730hrs... then we can watch him in action. But I have no doubt that the Dakar thread will provide plenty of info about the race.
