1. Hey everyone, We’re going to start a weekly email to surface interesting threads in the forums. No worries, you can easily unsubscribe if you don’t find it interesting. If you’re like me, it’s nice to have someone willing to poke around a big community like ours and find the most interesting stuff. Saves time and I hate missing something great. It worked really well when we had someone discovering the best photos for the home page rotation back in the day. And if you have something fascinating to post, maybe this email does everyone some good by getting it noticed. Let us know what you think when you get it. Your feedback will make it better as we go (thread). Thanks! Baldy & rudy1220

:y0! You wanna' know what I think the REALLY cool thing about that photo is...?

See the bloke (to Toby's left) in the Husqvarna/Rockstar wardrobe; helping to lift "the Mullet" up and celebrate... :deal
THAT's the bloke who just got pipped by one measely World Championship point, for the title. Only a couple of hours before were they up to their armpits in a down to the wire challenge for the rally and title chase... and here you can see that "Quint" is JUST as happy for Toby - as anyone else on the crew - even though strictly speaking they ride for different teams.

And a year ago... when Pablo took the title - "Pie Boy" was in there amongst the first to congratulate him.

THAT's the really cool thing; what a tight knit and cohesive group the entire Mattighofen effort is... THAT's what makes them so dominant in DAKAR (17 wins straight)... it is the team logistical, preparation and teamwork - not the colour of the motorcycle that achieves it.

Well done to Toby and the team for a hard fought and well deserved World Championship title. :clap:clap:clap

Was talking to Toby about two weeks ago at a ride day. Still very humble.
Said to him that I think he has the wood on the guys when it comes to speed when needed. His eyes went down, smiled, and mumbled something like "well yeah maybe".
    All had a little laugh.
Met him a few times now and still leaves the same impression.
    Great bloke.

I hope something comes out in his merchandising to celebrate this milestone.

I would be up for a tee-shirt, cap and stubby holder.

Brisbane ABC radio had an interview with him on Sunday.

I just caught the middle of it, then they had another guy on (regular motorsport commentator) explain in layman's terms how brilliant he is.
