Local bike wholesale guy who buys all the car dealer trade-in bikes. Lots of friends have bought from him. I can check it out if you need me to. No guzzi dealer for 500 miles makes these not so thrilling in ABQ.

Are you going to detail it a bit before final sale?
Valves checked recently? Top end ever been refreshed? What gearing are you at and how does that look for reasonable cruising speeds? Take it the suspension is stock?
(That's like level 2 beyond "clean", wow)

Sorry - late response - was in the mountains for the past weekend. Bike is bone stock (suspension, gearing 13/51). It does 55 MPH comfortably (and gets there in a hurry), but remember: this is built as a trail rocket, not a long-range dual sport. I bought the bike from an A level rider, who had the bike maintained by a Honda mechanic who worked for him on the side (must be nice). I have not touched the valves nor the top end. If I kept the bike I would put a new piston in during the off season, because I would be in for the long haul. And yes, if I must, I will clean it a little for you :D

You probably saw the full description of how I rebuilt (mainly carb and exhaust) in the CL ad. Aside from that everything received a lubing and cleaning when I bought the bike this summer. I needed a project, and there was a Moab ride looming in October, and I had nothing plated to use. I must have gone through 6 cans of parts and carb cleaner. Miss them those fumes...

    PM me if interested.

KLR's and DR650's are old men's bikes. Old men don't have to stroke their ego's so milk crates do work.

That's a bike I've always wanted, but I still prefer the green ones better.

The ZRX is a nice bike, kinda dated w/o FI. IMO that one's overpriced for the mileage but they are bulletproof motors.
