I bet that sounds like absolute crap with no muffler or cat. Beemers don't do well open. That and it is ugly IMHO. Snarky enough? :lol3

BTW: I have two instrument clusters I could sell him.

    It’s a good uses for $1,000 bike.
What I don’t understand is 1) where he put all the shit that goes under the seat, and 2) why in the hell would you go to all the trouble to put the kick stand on the other side of the bike?:jack

We see more than our share of wretched cafe bikes out here. What struck me about this one wasn’t the quantum of wretchedness, but the fact that the seller is asking $11,000 for a bike that probably wouldn’t sell for a tenth of that.

I put a ton of fun miles on my '85 K100RS, whenever I see someone hack up a K-bike to bits and think it's art and worth more than $1800.... :puke1 :lol2

Mine went it's whole life on it's original instrument cluster - unheard of, but I went thru four mufflers under warranty before it ran out. Heat shield vibrated to bits.
Cool bike though, and it took me all over creation.

The CB700SC is truly one of the classic bikes of all times IMHO: This one looks like it needs a LOT of work but you are a do it your selfer it could be worth it. Shaft drive so no chain maintenance. Hydraulic valves so no valve adjustments. Gas, Tires, and oil and go ride. They handle decently, have decent power, and look Cool. Everybody needs one at least once in their lives. :D

Wow, very nice. I would restore it but I feel too old and I have done enough in my life. Good memories all. My favorite restoration was this 1995 BMW R100GSPDc with 4,000 miles. It had been sitting for more than 10 years. Driven in and parked.

Kawasaki Concours Sport Touring Motorcycle - $1,900 (Monument)

Fantastic adult-owned 2000 Kawasaki Concours with only 16,773 original miles.

I purchased this bike from the original owner. Has a few scratches here and there (including a small piece of broken plastic on the front fairing above the turn signal that as been repaired and painted) but overall in great shape as it has been garaged its entire life. Tires in good shape.

I let it sit last year and now it will only start with the choke on, so it's probably due for some carb work. Starts fast and runs clean, but dies with the throttle. I'm researching the repair right now and may just do it myself at some point this fall, but thought I would offer it first a bit discounted if there was interest. These are really good sport touring bikes for eating up the miles of beautiful roads in Colorado.
