As always, great stuff, Tori - and Lisa. Loved the big dirty finish, Tori. Hope you cleaned up OK.

I was reminded of an enduro at Tarago on a property named Four Bee. The special test was along narrow raised dividing tracks through the settling/drainage ponds from the pig abattoir. Getting the picture?

After the enduro many of the riders - including those who slipped into the evil-smelling black ooze - met in the Loaded Dog Pub for a drink and chat still in their riding gear.

    I gave it a miss!

Sony x3000, with a Giant Squid LAV microphone routed inside the helmet. On this vid I was also using the Zoom H1N in a tail pack. I mixed the two audio streams. There are some pops and clicks on the H1N stream, but on my next ride I'll use the Low Pass filter to get rid of these.

I increased the saturation slightly on this video, but it is otherwise untouched.

    Glad you enjoyed :-)

Be patient and build speed - ya don't wanna find the grip limits too early on - it gets expensive if you throw it down the track:nod

    Don't wanna scuff-up ya new leather suit:shog

Keep the rubber side down and have fun:super

Is the runoff at the end of the straight still bedded with those bloody Punji Sticks?...

There was a coarse sand trap there, but there has been a lot of work done to the track recently (widened and some resurfacing)

My first visit to MP a few years ago resulted in a hospital visit.
Only did 6 laps in qually on damp track and threw the Berg off the end of the main straight and cartwheeled (literally) through the sand trap and hurt my neck(though I broke it):(:

Had a better result this year (first time back since crashing) on the old Duke (and the Husky450 for the wet races).

    They're only 2nd place trophies:shog

Looking forward to this round this year (Easter Cup), especially if i can get the Supermon690 sorted.

Ah, memories, I'm probably a quite a bit older than you @Bluetonguejak ... But know all too well the draw of hurtling around a track! Even 2nd feels pretty good knowing what's involved in all the preparation and lead up!
    Well Done!!

This from 1992, racing P4 on an aircooled (methanol fuelled) TR3 down at MacPark... The runoff at the end of the straight and around the RH T1 was not that inviting... Someone had simply used a brushcutter to hoe down the Mellaleuca brush... Leaving stumps of various diameter and about 3 - 6" high... easily enough that you made sure... 'I aint fcukin coming off here'.

Lot's of fun being being shown all the beautiful, classic old skool - 'get fcuked sonny' tricks played out by Mr Jeff Curley Esq on the Saturday...
But, whooped his arse Sunday for the class win :)

Not my own bike. Prepared and fettled by Sir Peter Morley... My custom Tiger Angel 'Marlboro' leathers, modified Aria helmet with homemade, vac formed aero carapice (pre RX-7RR3)...

Oh, the smell of Castrol R and Methanol... Fcuk I'm an old cahnt! So would love a RD400 setup for track days...

Will try and visit the 2020 Easter Meet!

@DeLewis and friends came up this weekend for some road riding. We had initially planned to hit the High Country . . .

Took these last night (I had recently eliminated the hugger and pillion pegs with this bit of trick CNC work from EvoTech in the UK):
    20200103_202837.jpg 20200103_202925.jpg 20200103_202937.jpg 20200103_203609.jpg
Our bikes this morning a little bit into the ride : 20200104_101447.jpg
Got about 150 GB of 4K footage, some great and spirited riding on car-less country roads (for the most part) and great conditions. Not too hot, not to cold, no rain. This part of Western Vic is much unappreciated as a road biking destination.
