torque wrench for the 640a

    All this talk of cheep and torque... two things that do not coexist.

    If you are are concerned enough about your equipment to even think about torque setting you need to invest in an accurate torque measuring unit. If you cheap out you will pay the price in broken, gaulded and failed equipment. If you can't buy a decent certified and calibrated tool... pay somebody that has invested in the tool to do the work accurately.

    I looked through all 9 pages and I could not find any posts about had to get at nuts and bolts . So my question is how do you torque up cylinder base nuts and lower cylinder head nuts ???????:scratch (the manual I have call 30 ft/lb for these nuts )

    thats what your special "beer" opening tool in your tool puch is for. there is a special mathematical formula that will help you adjust your wrench to the proper torque using it as an extension. the torque wrench end should fit into the beer cap removing end, assuming you have a 1/2" drive. if not use an adapter like mine.

    Yes I have one of those it's one of the few spaners that came with the bike (Mr ktm I didn't get front wheel spaner ) I thought it mite be some thing like that :rofl. (crows foot spaner but what about toque value):wink:
