Anyone riding up from Ohio area?
I am coming from Northern New Jersey Thursday morning. I ride KLR650. looking for company.
Phew....I have a rough ride to Dirt Daze:
Guess I'll have to take dirt roads all of the way there to extend it out a bit.
I am all packed up and ready to go.
@AdamChandler We should be passing you around 8-830 tomorrow morning. Coming down 5 or 10 from 116.
WOW!...Free gifties that are actually USABLE. A SYNTHETIC neck gaiter and a POLYESTER tee shirt! Nice. (I also like the plastic mug.) REAL thoughtful, DirtDaze. I'm already impressed and I haven't even gotten to ride yet.
For those of you yet to come, pay attention to the speed limits. They ARE watching; especially the 25 mph limits. Luckily I was being a good boy.
See you guys tomorrow about noon time. Heading up from NYC
Heading up in a few hours from upstate NY. Lot's of rules...hope I can abide.
The trail today are very muddy.....a bit more rain tomorrow so if you’re going out riding, be careful. If you are on 80/20s, stay off the rough stuff because your tires are going to muck up instantly in any mud.
Ride everything. Chat with Ernie Vigil from Triumph, He is the rider who just finished 5th on the scrambler in the Mexican 1000!!
Real nice guy.
Also, Christen who is the organizer of the event has people in from South Africa who are coming to NH after the weekend to ride. Any chance anyone could track Christen down and give him some ideas or maybe even routes??
I told him I would post this.
How can I help? I met an SA couple today. I’m leading the NH Route they were so kind and friendly. Christian is good at email
Meet up with Christian. He wants some ideas to send the SA group to NH.
Thnaks, that would be awesome!!
I have edited my photos and they're on Flickr (link) but I'm embedding a few below. Action shots are from my route, the Northeast aka New Hampshire ride. Hard to take photos since the pace was so fast but I did what I could. Everyone appears to have had a great time. Feel free to "steal" my images but just don't edit out the watermark.
I'll end up posting my vlog from the trip over on my ride report thread. It's personal so I don't want to muck up this thread with commentary and 'vlogger stuff'
Heading up from Central MA in the morning. Stopping for Coffee
A few pics from the Ridge ride. I had to bail on one section but managed to make it through the rest. Bit off a little more than I could chew.
Also got to ride the new Scrambler and 790 Adventurer. Missed out on the Honda rides.
Great time this weekend. Big thank you to Adam and all the guides and sweeps that planned and rode the New Hampshire route this weekend. Definitely enjoyed it on the Saturday run. Can’t wait for next year.
Great job Adam Chandler leading the NH ride on Saturday. It was indeed memorable, as was the VT ride on Thursday. Many thanks to you, the other tour guides and the rest of the volunteers. The demo ride teams from Honda, KTM and Triumph did a great job as well. Now, where were all the vendors? The few who were there were a welcome presence but overall there weren't many. Where was Touratech? Title sponsor, signs everywhere but not physically present as a vendor at all. They elbow out Mosko from exhibiting but don't even show up themselves? What's with that?
